One can be a Christian freethinker.

Indeed perhaps anything else is a betrayal.

The tramp and date stamp of your own life

(childish Anglicanism, Charles Darwin)

is neither definitive nor universal.

Christianity is compatible with Darwin and Big Bang theory.

The Bible is not a scientific textbook

that needs revising every few years.

Perhaps one should question everything.

But at the end of the day God cannot not exist,

tout fur par lui, as the French concisely say,

and we are all in the same lifeboat.
